Leap Motor B01 Sees Over 10,000 Orders in 72 Hours After Launch
Leap Motor has announced that its new all-electric sedan, the Leap Motor B01, received 10,132 orders within the first 72 hours of its official launch. According to official data, the long-range version of the vehicle is the most popular among consumers. The 650 Laser Radar version priced at 119,800 yuan and the 650 Enjoy version at 109,800 yuan have become the top choices, with over 70% of users opting for the 650km range version. User demographics indicate that 80% of the orders come from first-tier and quasi-first-tier cities. There is a notable trend towards younger consumers, with 72% of users being under the age of 35, and female users making up 48%. User surveys reveal that 88% of customers are attracted to its leading 650km range capability; 72% value its unique laser radar and Qualcomm 8650 chip-supported end-to-end assisted driving technology; and 68% appreciate its intelligent cabin equipped with the powerful Qualcomm 8295 chip. To recap, the Leap Motor B01 was officially launched on July 24, positioned as a 'high-quality smart sedan for young people,' offering six configurations with prices ranging from 89,800 yuan to 119,800 yuan, and providing three CLTC range options of 430km, 550km, and 650km. The B01 features a sleek design with a drag coefficient as low as 0.197Cd. Its front end is equipped with a continuous LED light strip and split headlights, while the rear has an aerodynamic ducktail and smoked continuous taillights. The car dimensions are 4770mm in length with a wheelbase of 2735mm, achieving B-class space performance under A-class dimensions, with a space utilization rate of 86%. It offers eight paint options, including the 'Morgan Pink' developed in collaboration with Pantone. The interior features a dual-tone color scheme of Fantasy Purple and Cloud Gray, complemented by geometric hollow designs and a floating aesthetic. The centerpiece is a 14.6-inch 2.5K central control screen running on the Qualcomm 8295 cabin chip, operating the Leapmotor OS 4.0 system with features like '3D Dynamic Desktop,' 'One Mirror All,' split-screen mode, and customizable 'Zero Motion Space' scenarios (combining over 200 atomic capabilities). The AI voice assistant integrates dual models, supporting multi-intent commands, dialect recognition, continuous conversations for up to 60 seconds, and 'text-to-image' capabilities. In terms of smart features, the B01 is equipped with the Leapmotor Pilot intelligent driving system, providing high-speed navigation assistance, commuting navigation assistance, and a self-developed memory parking function (capable of learning routes up to 1 kilometer long and remote parking via mobile app). All models come standard with 360° panoramic imaging and a transparent chassis; the Sentinel mode will be available for mid-range models through OTA updates. The B01 offers three CLTC range versions of 430km, 550km, and 650km, featuring a rear-mounted rear-wheel-drive layout, a seven-in-one oil-cooled electric drive unit with a maximum power of 160kW, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.4 seconds. It employs CTC 2.0 Plus battery chassis integration technology, with the chassis jointly tuned by Leap Motor and Stellantis, featuring a front MacPherson and rear five-link independent suspension.
